Here is one online one: http://www.tourkiev.com/chernobyl.php... The price shown there is pretty common. --- Edit --- To answer what the next post says, do not be concerned about the radiation. They monitor the radiation while you are there, and the typical radiation where you will be on the tour is around 20 rads, which is about the same radiation found in most major cities. Paris is at 22 rads. Just stay on the pavement. Radiation lingers in the soil, not the cement. As to "nobody arranges trips there", I have been there, and many Ukrainians actually still live there (just not in the "hot zone", which is patrolled and requires a permit to enter - which the tours have). It is safe, as long as you follow the rules. Would a man who grew a third eye on his head after going there lie to you? The "safe zone" may be safe as they say, but I have read and heard too many conflicting data on the long-term consequences of the Chernobyl accident, that I don't have much faith in the official safety information. Any one not arrange such Trip but it is easy buy ticket to Kiev, and than with train or bus you can go there. In Ukraine are very cheap prices for you. Don't stay too much there there is very big risk from cancer if you stay more. |
