Travel Info How old are you?Where did you use to live?For how long?And did you like it?I come from Prague,Czech Republic and used to live in Canterbury,England for nine months.Absolutely loved it:-)I'm 20..and what about you,guys?I'm curious:-) Travel Tips Hi I lived in Athens for 2 years, I worked in bars and restaurants out there and absolutely loved it. In the summers I would take the boat off to some of the Islands and get bits of work here and there. Greece is like my second home. The people were wonderful, and the country is just the best place. I was 21 when I first went out to live there. I also lived in Ireland for 2 years. I lived all over the country. I have to say Cork was my fave place and Dublin was the least fave because the attitude of Dubliners tends to be a bit 'we're the be all and end all of Ireland, f*ck the culchies'. Plus I had a bit of ignorance shown towards me because I'm British - but that's their problem not mine. I worked in Copenhagen for a month which all I can say was expensive and cold but the nightlife was pretty cool. Mexico in 2002 was brilliant, I spent Spring Break out in a small village in the hills called Ixtapan De La Sal and got very very drunk and totally enjoyed myself. Acapulco was prob one of the hottest places I've ever been to, and the best nightlife I've come across. The beaches were fantastic and the food was great. We drove there from Mexico City for a weekend away. Absolutely recommend it to anyone. I learnt so much while I lived abroad, I learnt to speak another language very well (Greek) and I just widened my eyes to this world, its made ma an more rounded woman and I am grateful for that. I am now in london, but i would love to go and live somewhere sunny! im 32. lived in sydney australia for 2 years. lived in spain for 1 year, lived in the philippines for 3 years. im a diplomatic officer i loved it worked abroad for three months-spain.now 45 yold.yes i did not want to return back to wales. |
