Heading to Bulgaria in a few weeks and staying in Sunny Day Hotel ,Sunny Beach.All advice etc appreciated...!? |
Travel Info Hotel facilities,resort Bars and Restaurants and shopping for the missus.and does anyone know if the hotel rooms have a fridge or mini bar ? About the fridge - well, I would assume the room has a minibar, but don't know really - probably the best is to ask your agent. For shopping I recommend Burgas, the region's centre. It might be a good idea to travel around a little bit - to Nessebar, Burgas, Zheravna, Varna. Just go with a free mind and in good will and you will most probably have a great holiday. Enjoy! PS. Other Travel Tips Went to sunny beach in bulgaria last summer, very cheap, nice place, **** people! They were not very accomodating and didnt have very good manners! For this reason I would go back, Spain is much better at welcoming its tourists and making them feel welcome. i used to go every year but have not been for a few years. from what i understand it has changed dramatically recently and is much more commercial For advice on hotel check the reviews on www.tripadvisor.co.uk Shopping in Bulgaria is great very cheap but you get what u pay for Have a great time!! parents just recenty returned - still very basic though drink is cheap as is eating out. everything centred around drink though markets do have some bargains re clothes but beware many are fakes. Another thing although tour operator may advertise they are part of the EU they do not have full membership so you can only bring back small amounts of duty free. The customs are very strict i.e 300 cigarettes etc. Sorry if it sounds bleak - parents said a lot still needed to be developed but it was still pleasant. |
