Sunny and cheap is Croatia.....it has some really amazing scenery and lots of stunning coastlines, islands. Dubrovnik is really lovely......
Nice and relaxed, nice people and lots of history I had no idea existed there!

For options on cheap airlines, try this link....as many of the cheap airlines run out of the UK its probably better to go from there...mind you, you could already be there.....anyway give this a go as it also links to the websites for the airlines as well... Other Travel Tips
Slovenia - yummy.

Stay here: http://www.bit-center.net/ cheap, but really clean and friendly.

Visit here: http://www.atlantis-vodnomesto.si/... I would stay there all week if I could.

Served by EasyJet, so easyish to cheap inexpensive flights.
Here some destinations maybe you can consider to go :

South of Portugal (abufeira)

one of the island of Greece (but I heard it's blo**y hot there at the moment)

Spain (costa del sol or valencia)

Italy (Rimini Beach)

Flight fare quite cheap to go to those places.

Don't where you are but check-out some budget airlines site:
sometime come with package (including flight, hotel/apartment/transfer).

For example : I can get the 8 days holiday in Rhodos (Greece) for 鈧?350 (incl. Flight ticket, hotel and transter from/to airport).

Cheap, sunny and sea - this is Bulgaria, but not the big resorts - just go to one of the small towns/ villages (Obzor, Tsarevo, Kiten, Ahtopol) or even Burgas or Varna (the two regional centres) along the sea coast and book private lodging. The price would not be more than 7 pounds for a bed, could be less if you negotiate a one week stay. The price for a good beer in the small neighbourhood shops or the supermarkets is up to (and lower than) 40 p.
I'm sure there are charter flights to Burgas or Varna airports.
So, check out those places and have a nice holiday!
