Yes, I've been to Montenegro and know where it is. It's an independent country that was part of the former Yugoslavia. To its south is Albania. It's on the Adriatic coast and is beautiful -- old monasteries, beaches, mountains, etc. It's folk dancing is well-known in the region (the Oro). Among nice places to go are Budva, Kotor, Cetinje, Podgorica (capitol), Skadar Lake, Ostrog Monastery, Bar, Ulcinj, Tivat, and Durmitor Mountain Source(s): I worked throughout the Balkans in the 90s, had friends in Podgorica and visited them often.

yup. i've visited a couple of places in Montenegro, like Budva, Herceg Novi, Podgorica, Suto More, but my favourite is Kotor. amazing!! ;o)
