Travel Info i and my friend supposed to vistit Croatia in next 2 weeks, we want to stay in Zagreb and we want to see every where we can, we are two girls that we want to enjoy from this travel, if you want to joy us say to me. or may be just give us some info about best places to see in Zagreb. Travel Tips Zagreb is deserted during summer, but (!) there is always a place you can go out and have a good time. Of course, I don't know what type of things you like. Jarun is a good choice. There, you can visit many clubs and meet many people. Events going on there are associated with commercial music, techno... If you are looking for something different, try clubs like Mochvara, Kset, Tvornica, Boogaloo... There you can hear rock, alternative, punk... If you just want to drink a cup of coffee, you can visit Tkal膷a (it's a street near Jela膷i膰's square) and very popular. If you want to see a movie, visit Cinestar or Broadway (in Tkal膷a). So, have a good time in my city... :D Others At this time of the year all the action is on the coast. You can see Jarun lake where there is a lot of coffees. People in Zagreb often go swimming on Jarun. Zagreb is a really nice city, ou can just walk around the centre and grab an ice-cream or something. Still, weather is supposed to be really hot, so Id suggest going to the coast. Its really not that far away, for example the island of Krk is 2 hours driving, and you have buses, too. You can go swimming in Krk, Ba拧ka, Njivice, Malinska... And if youre interested in history, go see Jurandvor, where the famous Ba拧ka Tablet was discovered (Ba拧膰anska plo膷a in Croatian).
