Why is Paris the most romantic city in the world?? |
Travel Info Why is Paris the most romantic city in the world?? Travel Tips I really don't know, but, the best way to find out is to go there. You'll find an unforgettable charm. Others Maybe it's PARIS? Paris is not the most romantic city ever. I found Paris to be quite dirty and hectic. The city trains stations there are rat-infested. Not to mention dreary and wet and gloomy weather, even in August! That doesn't constitute romance to me. Eiffel Tower? What's the big deal about a big, pylon-like structure? I've seen way more impressive structures all over the world, from Vatican, to the Petronas Twin Towers to the Golden Gate Bridge. I suppose Champ De lyse was pretty impressive area. Definitely the best, most romantic part of Paris. But certainly other cities in the world offer locales that are equally as impressive, if not more. Honestly, I've been to too many more romantic cities than Paris. Italy has many more romantic cities or even San Francisco. Or any of the beautiful coastal town in California ie. Santa Barbara, Catalina Island or Laguna Beach are way more romantic than Paris. Not to mention all the beautiful sunset beaches Honolulu offers. Paris is a fine city, mind you. Just over-rated as to how it's meant to be the MOST romantic. That's quite inaccurate. I think this is a personal choice. Paris has got its Eifel Tower (where a lot of people get engaged), the Champs Elysee, the Seine and a lot of cozy parks, but it can also look very dirty (especially some train stations). Venice is famous for its gondolas and litlle restaurants. I think it depends on your own definition of romance. |
