Whats the cheapest airport to fly out of in Europe?? |
Travel Info If Im going from Europe to LA (california), which is the least expensive to fly out of, in September? Rome, Venice, Florence, Barcelona, Valencia, or any other city in Italy, Spain or Morocco?? Tryin to figure out the cheapest route.... thanks! Travel Tips Most airlines fly into the biggest airports the most often -- sometimes to go to smaller places (i.e. Florence or Venice), you end up taking a connecting flight so that adds cost. A one-way flight is usually most expensive so sometimes buying a round-trip is cheaper (don't ask, I can't explain it to make sense!) From Italy, Rome or Milan will usually be the cheapest airports since they are the large international airports. From Spain, Madrid is probably you're best bet although you might get some direct flights out of Barcelona or Seville. Morocco will probalby not be as cheap as Europe, but Casablanca most likely has the most options (although Tangiers, Rabat, Marrakech, etc. all have lots of European options for you to link to another flight to LAX). Source(s): do some basic searches now -- kayak.com, orbitz.com, travelocity.com etc. to get a sense of what the rates are. Maybe talk to a travel agent to see what they come up with (if you can get a quote for free). Then monitor these fares and plan around which seem to be best. Other Travel Tips This website could be useful...it really only has the budget airlines and gives you the cheapest flight for the routes offered.....you can also go directly to the airlines if you want. AS I said it only has certain airlines and many go via the UK...you could look for flights there and then look for connecting flights to whereever.... http://www.skyscanner.net/nzd/flights-fr... |
