Anybody been to Cyprus?

Can you tell me anything about it ? Like hows the life there, rural - urban? Is it expensive?
If I take a summer programm there (University) will it be a goof idea?

i was there - i lived there for 6 months in Paphos, i liked it! But i would not want to live there. It is quite expensive there acctually. In summer very hot, i was there from 12th may till 10th november, and the first rain i saw in a week before my leave. Everything closes in the lunch time (don't remember from what time - i think since12-4 pm), cause of hot weather. It was fun, a lot of bars, clubs, nice frendly cypriots!
