In Ibiza, how far is the resort of Santa Eulalia from the airport and how can I get there without hiring a car |
Travel Info If I land in Ibiza airport and want to get to the resort of Santa Eulalia, how long will it take me and what options do I have to get there (eg taxi, shuttle bus etc. Hiring a car is not an option). Any other information eg price, availiabilit etc would be greatly appreciated.TIA Travel Tips To get from the airport to Santa Eulalia will take about 20 mins (the new road is open and you can skip all of Ibiza Town) however obvs this depends upon the time of day and how busy the roads are. For a transfer it depends upon who you are flying with, what time of year it is and what time you will arrive in the airport. Unfortunately you can't just approach a tour company and ask to go on one of there buses as they are not insured to take you (and they won't take you unless you have prebooked). There are plenty of companies that offer transfers from tour companies like Thomson's to other companies like resort hopper, shuttle direct and holiday taxi's. It is cheaper to book a shuttle than a private transfer (shuttle direct are approx 40鈧?rtn per person in July). If you take a taxi when you arrive it will set you back about 30鈧琲sh but if you are coming in the height of the season then you can queue for up to two hours!!! Finally if you are a true trekker and want to keep it cheap take the bus! It will set you back about 4鈧?one way per person and in the long run is quite often quicker than waiting for a taxi!!
