Travel Info What European country is the friendliest? Travel Tips I have lived and worked in several European countries since I was 17, and travelled throughout. Without question, Ireland is the friendliest place to travel to -- especially off the beaten path and away from overly touristed areas (but even those have the Irish charm). That said, you can always find friendly people when travelling - just as you can also find grumpy, mean ones, sometimes it's all just the luck of the draw... Others Czech Republic That would depend on where you are from really. But generally speaking - Hungary would be my choice. Their love of wine, dancing, and food will make anyone cheerful and friendly, especially if you join them! I think that in every country you can meet friendly people. It depends also how you are and how you threat people. I traveled in a lot of European country's and met a lot of friendly people. Especially in small villages. To me it has to be Malta-They are so laid back and friendly-I just love the place |
