Need a good hotel in Ibiza?

Travel Info
I want to stay in San Antonio (probably Bay rather than Town) and would like a good hotel that is not full of chavs. Can anyone help?

Travel Tips
Hello Turbo. Yes, of course, I can help you.
Theres only one hotel to consider really in San Antonio and thats The Fiesta Palmyra. Its a 4 star hotel and is the one 4 star hotel in the area with consistent good reviews from other travellers.
Check out the link below on trip advisor for the details and what the past holidaymakers are saying about this hotel.

It's a central accomodation without being too busy, it has good rooms (not ultra modern) but very nice with large marble bathrooms and I'm pretty sure they were fairly recently refurbished and the housekeeping is excellent so it's not run down in any way.
As for the beach- it's literally on your doorstep, step out the door, onto the promenade and then onto the beach- great!

The food is excellent, with a varied choice of high quality and the staff do their jobs well in terms of customer service.

The Fiesta Palmyra is not cheap- but this should be a good thing because it means "the chavs" can't afford to stay there <vbg> It appeals mainly to couples and families or more affluent singles looking for a quality bases which is close to the nightlife but far enough away for a good nights sleep!

If The Palmyra is above your budget then the next best would be it's sister hotel, the 3 star Fiesta Milord. Once again, excellent reviews and as an alternative is very decent indeed.

Both hotels get lots of repeat clientelle and are considered the best in the area.

The Bellamar is also a 4 star hotel which might be available easily through sites like medhotels.com at very cheap rates, however, the reviews here are not so good and if "the chavs" can afford it, then they'll all be there!

One word of warning though. The self catering in San Antonio is not of the same standard as the hotels, so try to avoid SC where possible.
Check everything via "tripadvisor" for the best information-look before you book, thats the key!

Wherever you end up, I hope you have a lovely holiday!

Good luck. Source(s): http://www.tripadvisor.com/hotel_review-...

Other Travel Tips
It's a matter of star rating with the Fiesta Palmyra being the highest as a 4star. You can see it here and check it's facilities, photos: http://www.cheaperthanhotels.com/spain/i...

If you want to compare it to other hotels or aparthotels in the areas check this page which has a lot of alternatives:

If they're on this reputable site, then you should have no problems with the quality, whilst the 4 star is considered the better one.
