Travel Info **sorry if this is under the wrong heading, I thought I may get the best answers here** So for my French class, we have to write an essay that compares the theme of "l'amiti茅" in 3 written works ("Ode 脿 Cassandre", "De l'Amiti茅", et "Je Vis,Je Meurs"). Now my question to you guys is, what would you define "l'amiti茅" as? My french teacher said that it could have many different meanings. What about in respect to these three selections? Is this theme found in any SIMILAR way in these three works? Thanks! Travel Tips Hi! The main meaning of "amiti茅" is friendship. Then we have some idioms where this word can have a slight different meaning : - "prendre quelqu'un en amiti茅" : to befriend somebody - "mes amiti茅s 脿..." : best wishes to... - "faites moi l'amiti茅 de..." (quite posh) : would you be so kind as to... I think your question is more about how we consider friendship. In that case, i don't think there's a french view of it that would be different than an english one. It's just a matter of personality, it depends on you.
