What percentage of english people who move to france return to england within 7 years? |
Travel Info interested to know how many english get disenchanted with france after yearning to live there. Are retired people more likely to return or young marrieds? Travel Tips An interesting question... ! Although I live in France and part of my job is to try to keep up to date with figures like this, it is almost impossible to answer the question accurately. I would say that, in my area, approximately 30 - 40% of families give up and go back to the UK within 7 years. Retired people tend to leave when one partner dies... I don't think many stay here alone after losing their partner. Young couples, however, don't always find it easy to stay as it is difficult to find work here. They are the ones who are most likely to go back to the UK... for financial reasons, difficulty settling here for various reasons etc. Not very precise, but I hope this helps.. ! |
