Is there a French equivalent to Facebook? Which online communities are most popular? |
Travel Info I'm going to be in Orl茅ans, France for a month this summer and will eventually spend an entire year studying abroad there as part of my Int'l Biz major. I just wanted to find some good websites to meet people before I go and pick up some French lingo, abbreviations, etc. Any help is greatly appreciated! Travel Tips Yes, there is an equivalent to Facebook. It is called Netlog.com By the way, Orl茅ans is a nice city. You should like it. Others If you want to know some informations about France, write to me a private message, I'm French in Paris. Try www.pointscommuns.fr... it matches people according to their interests (books, music, films, etc.). There is also a French version of myspace.com, which seems to be almost as popular here as it is in the States. You are always welcome to contact me for any help you may need (even though I live in Paris). Have fun... my year abroad here led to my living here full time! |
