Travel Tips
I'm making the assumption that you're a US citizen. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

What you need is a (surprise surprise) Long Stay Visa for Foreign Spouse of a French citizen. Here's the form you have to fill out (in duplicate): http://www.ambafrance-au.org/img/pdf/lon...

You'll also need to present the original and two copies of the following:

valid passport

Livret de famille

French passport or national identity card of the spouse

Police certificate(s) of country or countries of residence of more than one year over the last ten years

Proof of medical insurance

The visa is free of charge

The application should be taken in person at the Consulate-General of France with all the required paperwork.

What else could you need? You have like your own personal lawyer answering your question and he even tells you what forms to fill out!! But I have heard dreadful things about dealing with government officials so I recommend you send your French husband to do the negotiations!
