Is there anyone out there who is living in the Limousin area of France and whether they like it there?

Travel Info
I am in the process of buying a little house out there but don't intend to move over permanently as yet.

Travel Tips
Hi,
My mum is from Limoges. What I can say, is that the area is very quiet. It used to be industrial as well as very agricultural. It has a very interesting historical past.
It is located centre of France. The cost of living is not as high as in Paris. One thing if you intend to come from time to time, you ll have to fly to Paris, and probably have to take the train to Limoges.
I live in the south east of France (Cannes) which is not as quiet as Limousin. Depends if you want kind of remote life.
Good luck

Well, it all depends where in Limousin.
It is a vast region with very different areas.

I personnally like the area around Tulle, especially South and West of it.
Went to Limousin on holidays several times
