How do i use public transport to get from Marseille, France to the town of La Mure in France?

i will not be travelling by car, most likely it will be by train or bus. Please help.

In summer you could use the private railway Chemin de fer de la Mure http://www.trainlamure.com/ from Saint-Georges-de-Commiers. Take the train as close as you can get to the town then take a bus.
Take the train (The TER) from Marseille to Grenoble.
