What are the ultimate things to see near Nice, France? |
Travel Info I will be basing myself in Nice for 4-5 days and would like to limit seeing things from Cannes in the west and Ventimiglia, IT in the east. Btw, is Ventimiglia worth visiting as well? Travel Tips Ventimiglia is now just a huge market for copies of luxury items and not worth the trip, especially when the tourist season starts. Customs agents wait for the tourists at the border to take their copies and give them big fines. Nice itself is worth visiting, here is a link : http://www.nicetourism.com/gb/frameset/f... There's also plenty of small towns with medieval walls, old city centers, museums and the like. This was a very travelled route in the old times so you have plenty of constructions, medieval, roman, you name it they probably have it. This should help you.
