Nice Travel Questions?

I'm planning a travel to Nice in November.

1. Could you pls advise me a clean, safe and cheap hotel? And the rates if possible.

2. What are the things to do in Nice? Must see places etc.

3. How are the prices in Nice, an avarage meal or taxis for example?

Travel Tips

1. There are two hostels in Nice, one in the historic center (Vieux Nice). Google "auberge de jeunesse" Nice to find their contacts. when I was there the hostels were full so I stayed at a hotel called Les Orangiers one minute from the train station. The room was the size of a closet but it was only 20 euros a night and had a shower in the room.

2. Nice itself I think doesn't have that much...Vieux Nice is charming, and a lot of people are on the beaches (but there's nicer ones in the villages to the east). There's some pleasant museums but the city is short on major sites. It's more of a clubbing place.

3. Can't help on taxis as I walked everywhere but meals, depending on where you go, will be between 10-15 euros. There's also a Monoprix (supermarket) in the new section of town if you want to buy your own food.

everything is cheaper in November! except restaurants and taxis (same price all year long...)
