Is marrying a french guy the only way, cause i'm a free spirit, and I really don't wanna marry till later, like 30 or somthing. Thank you=] Travel Tips You can legally reside in France while going to an institution of higher educuation without problem. Student visas are readily granted. The usual five year resdience requirement to become a naturalized citizen is reduced to two years for such students. Please note that as a Polish citizen you are a member of the EU and therefore have a legal right to reside in France. You must still however apply for a long stay visa (a Carte de Sejour). NB: If you do not have proof of your Polish Citizenship you should obtain it in the form of a Polish Passport. Others All students wishing to pursue studies in France must first register with CampusFrance in order to obtain a student visa. The French assume that if you want to become French, you must know French. Basically, you have to live legally in France and show linkage to the French culture. It is one of the most convinient countries to immigrate to, in fact. Once you get a resident status, you can start applying for citizenship. If you come from a former French colony or from a country that has close cultural ties with France, the period would be shorter, and it would be much easier to receive French citizenship. http://www.consulfrance-newyork.org/rubr... Hiya, The best thing would be to get a carte de s茅jour "茅tudiant" and once you are in France you can chage your statue. |
