Any tips for traveling to France blind?

Travel Info
Yes, I am blind, but before I lost my sight I loved traveling in Europe. I just found out I can go to France and stay in with a friend for a while. I was just wondering if anyone knew with international airline would be the best, if I should bring my seeing eye dog and what I can do once I get there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Travel Tips
I can't advise you about airlines but by all means bring your dog. France is very dog friendly to begin with and people bring just ordinary pets to cafes so your seeing eye dog will certainly be welcome.

As to what to do, eating all that great French food and trying out all that good wine is a great thing for anyone to do in France.

There's also a lot of good music venues, especially jazz venues in France. Depending on where you will be staying there are also music and fokloric festivals that I'm sure you'd enjoy.
