What plug converters do I need for Germany?

Travel Info
I'm going to the Monchengladbach Carnival, but cannot do without my hairdryer etc. I have the 2 pin plug converters, like I needed for Spain and Portugal, but not sure if that's the correct ones for Germany. Will my (UK) Hairdryer etc be safe to use over there? Thanks for any advice. Away on Wednesday & forgot to ask in the travel agents.

Travel Tips
Germany uses the Europlug. It is the same as the two-pin plug used in most other European countries on continental Europe including Portugal and Spain.

If you have the round 2 pin converters your OK,and you hairdryer will work
EU are all the same apart from us and one other. But you will need a different sink and bath plug
Mainland Europe is nearly always the same so the one you used in Spain & Portugal should be fine, the nearest I have been to Germany is Belgium and i used the 2 pin plug and my hairdryer & straightener worked as normal.
I think a two-pin plug should be just fine and that your hair-dryer should work using it.

have a wonderful time at the carnival and i hope the plug converter works!
