Does Germany experience daylight savings time too? |
Travel Info Cuz I have a bunch of friends over there, but I just met them all this year, so we've never experienced this, so I don't know if it's 11:15pm or 12:15pm for them now, if it's 5:15pm here. Travel Tips yes, germany has daylight saving time, unfortunatly i don't know where you are at now.... not smart enough to figure that one out right now... i'm on the east cost and germany is normaly 6hrs form here, i guess you are on est too... daylight savings time always take place the last weekend in March in germany and last weekend in Oct. So until than it's 5hrs difference from Eastern time. they change the time March 25th at 2am and change it back the last sunday morning in october. i hope this helped. Mel Others Hello, we have daylight saving time too. But we change to summertime end of march.(last weekend in march) Daylight saving time in all european countries that are participating is from the last weekend in march until the last weekend in october. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/daylight_sa... Yes, we are also switching. Europe switches to DST on 3/25 and ends on 10/28 this year. Greetings from Germany... ------ @German Spurs Fan: you're wrong - not all countries switches to daylight savings time - most countries in the world doesn't!!! Every country in the world experiences it, only at different times Since the 90's the European Union regulated this with a Directive, so summertime begins in all EU countries on the last Sunday of March, meaning on the 25th March in 2007. |
