A flight from Leipzig Airport to Paris would be the cheapest (and also shortest) way to get to Paris.
The train can be an alternative as well, but you'll be around 10-12 hours in the train until you arrive in Paris.

for example) and drive there. The route planner reckons about 7 hours so the travel time is not too bad, I guess, considering that with a plane you need to get to the airport early etc.
Agree with TorstenB on flying from Leipzig Airport. It is definitely the best way.

The savings might be substantial enough to warrant the detour. (The cheapest way from Leipzig to Berlin is with the Interconnex train, tickets start from 12 EUR.)
