I will be in Frankfurt Germany, looking to take 2 days to go to Italy? |
Travel Info where do you suggest I go in such short time?Also, what is the best way to get there? plane? Travel Tips You can fly with RyanAir to Italy for a short trip. The rates are not expensive and there is a shuttle bus that goes from Frankfurt International Airport to the airport in Frankfurt Hahn. I think it leaves every hour or so, but check with RyanAir on that. From Frankfurt Hahn, they fly to almost every airport in Italy, so you can just pick whichever one you want to see the most and go for it. But really, if you want to go somewhere for only 2 days, I would suggest something a little closer. Maybe England or Ireland. Do you want information on Frankfurt, Germany because you'll be there for 2 days before you go to Italy or do you want to go to Italy from Frankfurt for 2 days? If it is the latter, you better forget it. 2 days is really a very short time for Italy. You could see Venice, but not much more. Anyway, plane is only a good (cheap) option if you are willing to leave from Hahn Airport. See http://www.skyscanner.net and http://www.bahn.de for connections. From Frankfurt, you could also go to Heidelberg if you want to see more of Germany. See http://www.heidelberg.de . Use the train to get there. Walk there just like the Van Trapp family did. Try singing like they did, makes the hill climbing a lively experience..... Really, what do you mean with your 2 days? I suggest you visit Las Vegas. There you can see Italy, Germany, France, all the 'Touristy Things' that supposely make up Europe. American 20 years living in Germany(Not with the US Military). Flying would be better, but you can also take the train is simpler and less stressful. 2 Days is not a lot of time. I would suggest Venice. Beautiful place, you can go there see the city, St. Mark's Square, Church, and Doge Palace in 2 days.
