Can i learn german in 2 month? and if i can how?

Travel Tips
Hi,

My advice to you would be to get a job in Germany. I teach English here, have a German boyfriend and try and talk in German as much as I can.

German is very hard to learn and Germans will spot straight away that its not your native language and sometimes answer you in English - when you have asked a qustion in German.

You may be able to learn some German in 2 months - but it depends on how good you are at languages.

Good luck

It would be hard, especially if you have no experience in German. Look up books and completely immerse yourself in the language. Label everything, talk to German speakers, visit local Germantowns, etc.
There are some courses which are available which will teach you a "Language in 1 Day".

Of course, this doesn't make you fluent, but you can learn a vocabulary of around 60 odd words which will be enough to just get you by in many common situations.

In 2 months you could make serious headway into learning any language, but it would be very tough and you would have to work really hard at it.
Berlitz!!

Well, actually, if you want to learn just the basics, especially for travel, I find the Langendscheidt's mini yellow books are fantastic. They tell you everything from how to say hello to making polite conversation to picking someone up from a bar!

I have the German one and it is good and inexpensive.

Good luck! Auf Wiedersehen!
Hello, I am from Germany!
I think you don't really have a chance to learn German in two months. German is one of the most difficult languages in the world and even if you would study it for a few years you wouldn't be able to speek it perfectly. In my school in Germany there is an exchanging trip to England every year. I am really sorry, but no one of the pupils who come to us is really able to speak german correctly (and they are studying for three years).
If you just want to get basic knowledge you have a good chance but it'll be a hard job. You can use the Langenscheidt dictionaries (there really good).
Sorry if I made some mistakes (I hope my English is not too bad) and I hope I was able to help you!
Viel Gl眉ck!
In 2 months, if you do a crash course you will be able to buy food, ask for direction, etc
If you only want to function in Germany, you can learn a lot in that sort of course.
If you want to speak correctly, you need at least 5 years, 4 years to understand and work with the grammar, the rest for expanding your vocabulary. Contrary to french or spanish, german is difficult to learn at the beginning but gets easier in time.
It always depends on how well you hope to speak.
