Is Freiburg a nice city to live in?

Travel Info
Also, how far is it from Munich and Nurenberg?
Sorry I don't have a map at hand.

Travel Tips
I assume you are referring to Freiburg im Breisgau, the city in the Southwestern corner of Germany, near the French & Swiss border. I spent a year in Freiburg at the University there and I certainly enjoyed it.

It is relatively central in Europe, and it is easy to get around. It has a nice scenice charm to it. i would check out the Freiburg site...I have pasted a link below.

Munich is about 5 hours by train...it is not an easy trip, you generally have to change trains. The same is true of Nuremberg. The problem is that Freiburg is tucked behind the Black Forest as compared to the rest of Germany. This is nice for the scenery, but makes trips longer.

Have fun! Source(s): http://www.freiburg.de/servlet/pb/menu/1...
