Can someone help me translate this sentence,Ich habe von der Universitate gratuliert und mochte etw. zu machen |
Travel Info Ich habe von der Universitate gratuliert und mochte etw. zu machen. Can someone translate this sentence into English? Thank you. Travel Tips Well, I am german and this sentence does make no sense to me! I could only guess what this sentence is supposed to say but there is at least three different choices. Where did you get this sentence from? Where did you read it? I might be able to properly translate if I know what else was written. Right now this sentence says : I have congratulated from the university and want something to do! Doesn't make sense whatsoever ! Others I have graduated from the University and would like something to do. Babelfish translates it like this: I congratulated of the Universitate and might have made etw.. I don't know German, but I think it means that the person graduated from a university and nearly earned some honor. Maybe "etw" refers to some honor like magna *** laude, or it could mean they went to graduate school and nearly got a higher degree, but didn't finish graduate school. http://babelfish.altavista.com I agree with Lovely. The sentence is gramatically incorrect. etw. is a abbriviation for etwas (something) German speaker |
