German Pop music? Anyone know know any good German pop with female vocals? |
Travel Info I like female singers and german pop. Since I have a good handful of german's attending my wedding- I thought it would be fun to throw in some German pop into the music. Thanks!! Rosenstolz Silbermond Christina St眉rmer(Austria) Here are some of the German artists I currently listen to: Kira (www.kira-online.de) Juliane Werding (www.juliane-werding.de) Nicole (www.nicole-4-u.de) Annett Louisan (www.annett-louisan.de) Luttenberger Klug (www.luttenberger-klug.de) I'd start with Kira first. She's my absolute favorite, and the record company she records for, Gr枚nland Records(www.groenland.com), operates under the philosophy that it should be the music that drives record sales rather than a big American-style marketing machine. With that in mind, you're likely to find her a breath of fresh air. I certainly have--and I'm speaking as a professional musician myself. Still not mentioned here is the queen and grandmother of all female German pop singers, Marianne Rosenberg ;-) www.rosenberg.de Also nice are the bands Klee (www.kleemusik.de) and Paula (www.paula-musik.de). Silbermond, Juli, Nena, Nina Hagen. . . that's all I can think of at the moment. id recommend the bands "Juli" and "Silbermond" They both make good Pop-Rock Music with nice lyrics and wonderful female lead singers.
