Im going to India/Nepal in 2 days....could you please answer some of my questions? |
Travel Info ok...me and a friend of mine are going to India/Nepal from may 28th - august 3rd. We have a general idea of what we want to do. Equipment-wise we are all set and ready to go. However, I still have some questions. First off, in India, are hostels readily available in most places? I am sure the bigger cities do, but how prevalent are they? Second, we are going to have to drink lots and lots of water and I was wondering....is bottled water as plentifull as a westernized boy such as myself would like? Thirs is a Nepal question. We are doing the annapurna trek. I know there are many towns along this trek that have lodging, but are there any alternatives in regards to overnighting? Do families take you in? Are there hostels along this trek? ....and again, is bottled or suitable drinking water available here? Thanks in advance for any answers to the above questions. Travel Tips Hi. I can't anwer all your questions but I have been to India. Bottled water is available. However, it is important that you buy it from a good store make sure the seal is not broken. Some people will find an empty water bottle fill it up with water from who knows were and try to resell it. So Make sure the seal is in place. Others I am Indian Hostels are available in villages as well as in city India has bottled water named bisleri & aquafina idk about nepal in india you will get all d thing u want! so dont wory. u can find very good hotels n restorent. n drinking water as u drink All of North and Northwest India and all of Nepal is contaminated with DU fall out from the Afghanistan War. I think it would be a good idea if you find out what is going on on this planet before you travel. |
