Short skirts in india?

im going to india for the summer and since its hot there im going to punjab i was wondering if i could wear short skirts (really short) cause they look good on me ...

I wouldnt recomend it, one because its not in their religion. And 2 because they have alot of, you know, they arnt really stable there. They may look good on you, but I wouldnt do it.
Well really depends on which part of Punjab you are going...India is too varied in its cultures and traditions from place to place...at one side you have the totally hip hop outgoing community and on the other side you will find the traditionalist existing together...so be more specific in your questions...you could raise a few eyebrows if you donot dress accordingly and its not very safe too!
I sincerely advice not to wear short skirts in india as a tourist. Indians surely know when and where they can wear these dresses but as a tourist you may be inviting trouble.
You can do anything you want to do as long as you are willing to accept responsibility for your action. But a short skin in India is a BIG NO! NO!
Advice from an American traveling and living here for 33 years. There are people who go naked here also. Just some advice. Be prepared for 110 -120 degrees temperatures.
You probably would look fast. But the boys would love it. So yes you could if you want and Indian boyfriend.
no dont - it does kind of depend on where you travel - some communities will be more open to this, but i would take a variety of clothes, and pay close attention to what is being worn by others.
