i also dont know much about that place. but its beautiul.....
the Brindhavan garden in mysore is good especially after 7pm(u get to see the musical fountains). the mysore palace is another place to see. another place is The rajas seat.
u can enjoy the peace and serenity of Mysore which is a relatively small town compared to bangalore. it takes an hour or two to bangalore by car.
MYSORE is the land of palaces,tradition &art.It is a very good tourist spot. It has many places which u can visit n enjoy some of them r:

lalitmahal palace
jaganmohana palace
KRS dam
GRS fantacy park
fun fort
karanji lake
kukkarahalli lake
chamundi hills
mysore zoo

You must visit the Palace and its meuseum, the famous mysore garden, Mysore is also famous for sarees and the Mysore Paak(sweet dish)
