Others Maybe because its made of marble so the sun gives it different colours. due to acid rain. as taj mahal is made up of marble therefore acid rain reacts with it and spoils it colour I think it's something to do with there being semi-precious stones inlaid into the white marble, making it appear to change colour in different lights. Just down to the polution and there is no one who has a clue as to how to maintain it.it need a good cleen up.without moving it around. Just to do with the position of the sun.
