Since you have a bike for the trip, the journey time is not going to be more than 5 hours one way. All you need is, start your journey in the early hours of the day, ride at optimum speed (60kms) which will give your more road grip, mileage and safety. Take the state highway till Kurnool and from there on take NH7 to Hyderbad both ways,which is better and safe. Be sure to wear a helmet, check the motorcycle's engine oil level, brake pads, clutch & lamps. If in case of any puncture anticipated, I suggest you to replace the tyres with that of tubeless ones. Others i guess u should have some spare parts and a tyre repair kit with you, a map, directions, torch, camera, mobile phone, extra batteries for ur torch and phone, maybe a raincoat or a windcheater. a pretty good helmet. and hopefully u got a pillion rider. i wouldn't want to try a road trip alone, atleast not in india. A scooter is the best choice, since you will have to cross tiger reserver it is safer to have a extra tyre assembly with you. was in Hyderabad and my friends suggest foremost thing : HELMET.. bike papers.. license.. make sure u knw ur bike well.. listen to her very carefully.. engine oil.. brakes.. clutch.. the milage setting.. tyres shud not be bald .. a constant average speed is necessary rather than zippin.. njoy!! |
