Travel Info Apart from candle light how else do villages generate light in India? Travel Tips pl,do not think villages in india have no electricity.they have.at least most of them have. they do not burn candlesticks often as they are too expensive. they have gasolene lamps,kerosene lamps,spirit lamps and solar lights too. Others they sleep early and wake-up early in the morning. India's power grid is pretty broad. There is some solar power generated but by and large it is standard govt. power or generator power. BTDT There are very few villages in India that does not have electricity. Some villages they use kerosene lamp and other natural oil based lamps(coconut oil, peanut oil) candles are not used as they are little expensive. They also use Oil Lamps, Kerosene lamps etc. to generate lights. |
