What IS that little squre-ish hole?

I have asked my Irish boyfriend this and he doesn't know. What is that little hole at the top of Ireland? It's in the North East. Can anyone help?

It's Lough Neagh, the biggest lake in Ireland. Your boyfriend is from Ireland and doesn't know this??
