Travel Info Is Ireland as beautiful as all the novels make it sound? Travel Tips I live in Ireland and it is beautiful. We have beautiful beaches and rolling hills covered in heather. Wicklow is called the garden of ireland and is very green. The west coast is more rugged. Donegal is stunning. Don't come expecting lots of red hair - some people have red hair but it is by no means common. We don't say "top of the morning" either! The weather isn't always great but if you dress warmly and prepare for rain then it won't bother you. There are lots of different kinds of green. We have a saying that if you can see the mountains clearly it is going to rain and if you can't it's already raining! Others I sure hope so. It's my dream to go there one day and just gaze at the green pastures and hills. -sigh- lordy lord yes. ive never been there but ive seen a tape of a relative there. Absolutely! Ireland is breathtakingly beautiful. It rains a lot, but it keeps the grass green, and Ireland lives up to it's "Emerald Isle" nickname. Go to Yahoo or google images and type in Ireland, and you'll see lots of photos. I've been there. i hope so. are the boys there mostly redheads and gorgeous and have lovely accents like i think they do? i hope so too. I live in Ireland and to tell you the truth it depends on the time of year and where you are! In the country in the summer is GORGEOUS! But in the winter...its not so good... |
