Travel Info
Okay so im doing a project on ireland and i need to know are there alot of mountains and hills and especially are there alot of forest? thanks!

Travel Tips
Ireland is surrounded by a ring of coastal mountains, but none are very tall. The largest is Carrauntuohill (Irish: Corr谩n Tuathail), which is 1041 m (3414 ft). As far as forest, Ireland has very few compared to most of Europe. Most of the land is either bog land or limestone. Also a good portion of it is grassy and used for farming or raising livestock. Other Travel Tips
yeah theres a few mountains but mainly theres loads of little hills especially around cave/monaghan. there called drumlins. there are forests just not very big ones. the forests that are here are mainly comercial ones were the timber is grown for money
Interesting point to make. Our country was full of forests in the 12th century, but when the Gaelic Revival against foreign occupation reserged in the 1400's the British felled a huge majority of our woodland as we were using them very effectively for guerrila warfare.
