I am looking for information of Irish Cottages in the 1820-1840.? |
Travel Info I have so far found Ulster cottages. I need like details of living space in cottages in the Republic or South. Travel Tips I used live in a 300 year old cottage in cork,whats to know?the walls are stone and are over 2 foot thick,the ceiling was low and the living room was north facing. The jax was an outside one until we built an extension. They were quite common. Try searching for old pictures of ireland,women with shawls and that kind of thing.old cork,old dublin etc. Others I looked online for you and found very little information, You may have to go to your local public library and find set in stone information there... Would be where I start... |
