Travel Info What do u think about ireland? Travel Tips Ireland is a beautiful country..I have family there..but it is quite breezy and chilly and not to mention expensive!! Others It is a great country and the people are also fabulous i live here some parts of ireland are lovely then there are not so nice places too, weather well most of the time it aint too bad a bit chilly and damp but our summers are starting to get good. cost of living is high. Im half Irish & Ireland is mainly the only Celtic country, they fought England for their independence, shows how much character they have considering UK controled 1/3 of the globe at that time, Irish are freindly, welcoming people, though i live in England i went to Ireland & what a contrast it was, Irish seem to be more civilsed, more understanding, down to earth, have morales, principles, i aint just saying this cuz im half Irish but genuiinely i belive they are some of the best people in the world, you need to go Ireland yourself to experiance this, the scenery is beautiful, has lot of history, you be amazed. There's an astonishing contrast between the quaint (look out, there's another sheep standing in the middle of the road!) and the very modern (truly, I was surprised at the amount of nudity and use of cuss words on television there---not something you see on network TV here in the U.S.) The people are not as outgoing as in America, but I believe they'd bend over backwards to accomodate you. They're kind, polite, and intense and easygoing at the same time. The scenery is spectacular, with the pristine beaches and winding roads lined with stone walls; the ancient buildings are awe-inspiring. And, it's too chilly and damp! I love Ireland! I think that their culture is so beautiful. Not to mention their accent. And they have some famous people like u2 and Roma Downey(one of my fav actresses) |
