Travel Tips
It's definitely a scam. With the Irish lottery you have to buy a ticket from an authorised agent (usually a shop) and prizes can only be claimed from either
a) a lottery agent for small prizes
b) a post office for all but the main prizes and
c) the lottery headquarters for all main prizes.
You can only claim prizes in person and with the winning ticket in hand.

It's over 鈧? million tonight!!!!

It's a scam. They tell you that you have won money and they have you deposit the check into your account, They get your bank information and steal the money you put in there and anything else you have. These lotteries are popping up everywhere. Don't do anything!
there is a proper irish lottery, you have to buy the tickets in the bookies though rather than the newsagents, anything over the internets a scam though
if you got a notice via email... its a scam.. delete it...
