Does ireland have railways? |
Travel Info i am looking for cheaper ways to travel around ireland when i visit the country in aug-sept.something by which i can enjoy the beautiful scenery...plz help me Travel Tips Yes we have railways. The site below has a map which shows the cities linked by rail. You can click on the sidebar for timetables and fares. Source(s): http://www.iarnrodeireann.ie/your_journe... Other Travel Tips Yes, they do ! Yes of course we do! Visit www.irishrail.ie and you can get details of all trains and plan your journey by keying in the start and finish stations. There are also buses which travel between towns and I think these are actually cheaper than trains. Visit www.discoverireland.ie for details of all the things to do and see. This site will also give links to several other sites and you should find all you need to know about travel and everything else there. Enjoy Being Irish Here the rest of these jokers are havin a laugh, we will in 2029 under the european NDP , but until then we still have to do with the aul horse and cart, but dont fret just get ur self a khap and u ll be fine. Make sure you go to Bull Mc Cabe hes gettin very lonely. Of course! But they network is not very extensive, most cities aren't directly connected and small towns, not to mention villages, usually can't be reached by train. And it's VERY expensive. If you don't mind a bit of bouncing and looong hours on a bus, that's your best option. Buses are cheap enough and go everywhere. If I were you though I would rent a car, to stop wherever you want and be able to get to the beaches... |
