Are there any rats in Ireland? |
Travel Info I have heard the story of how St. Patrick drove the rats out of Ireland. Is it true that there are no rats in Ireland? If so, what is the real story as to why there are not any rats in Ireland? Travel Tips I thought St. Patrick drove the snakes out of Ireland?! Others yes there are rats in Ireland :) Just the Boomtown Rats, (oh sorry, they broke up after Live Aid)...... loads of mice! The legend is St Patrick drove the snakes out, unfortunately we, like everywhere else in the world, do have rats Plenty of rats in Dublin ... in every pub almost, they hang out in packs waiting for their next meal ...you can spot them a mile off Kath & Kim No you are thinking of snakes!
