What is the best castle or castles and estates and churches, to see while in ireland?

I'm going to Ireland for a week in November and wont have that much time, which ones architectural, historical and design wise to see why there?

There are loads of Historical things to see in Ireland depending on where your interests lie , if you are interested in the country's history you can visit Kilmainham Jail (museum where the 1916 Easter rising Leaders were shot) its in Dublin. There's the Pearse Museum , the National Museum of Ireland archeology and history.
In Wicklow there's Glendalough , where you can see settlements dating back to the Celt's.
