i saw a picture of ben bulben in sligo county,ireland and the first thing that came to my mind was how was this formed?it has these strange cuts on it and i have no clue this happened .any answers.

Ben Bulben was formed during the Ice Age, when large parts of the Earth were under glaciers. It was originally merely a large ridge, however the moving glaciers cut into the earth, leaving a distinct formation, now called Ben Bulben. Source(s): Wikipedia
