Childminding Costs in Ireland? |
Travel Info I have 2 kids (7 & 6) and I will be going back to work and will be looking for a childminder to look after them from 9am until 6.30pm 4 days a week. What sort of cost should I be looking at possibly paying? A friend of a friend pays 230 euro a week for her 2 kids (also 4 days a week). Does that sound reasonable or expensive? I want to use a childminder in his/her home rather than a creche. Others i remember my boss used to pay the equivalent of my entire wage in a week for childminding her 4 kids. that was 400 euro per week. that was also in someone's home.
