Is there a big difference between the Irish and English language?

Travel Tips
If you mean Irish Gaelic and English, YES!

If you mean Irish English and England English... well, my only comment on that is that England English needs to stop being spoken by the English in Northern Ireland!

Get your illegal government and occupying forces out of Northern Ireland!Irish is gay lick.
You will see the difference if someone replys in Irish.
they contain different words
Well for a start in England we do not speak Gaelic,if you had not noticed.Plus if you are not conversant in Gaelic you won't understand it .That's the prime difference
yes, there are big differences....expecially between the pronunciation......irish one is more"closed" for example the irish pronunce of the "u" is more close tho the "o".....
but there are more differences...also between words....
