I am going to Argentina from the 19th July for about a month, anything I should definitely see?

Travel Info
Interested in the Tango and learning the language.

Travel Tips
There are many Tango shows available, some including dinner.

Go to the Teatro Colon (Colon Theater), Plaza de Mayo, San Telmo, and Plaza Dorrego on Sunday for the amazing flea market. Don't forget the cemetary at Recoleta where Evita Peron is buried.

There are many fine restaraunts. The best Thai food I've ever eaten was at Lotus Neo Thai in Belgrano. Great Indian food at Katmandu. Really super pizza and amazing drinks at Filo (San Martin 975), a hangout of Robert Duvall when he is in town.

If you want to hang out with ex-pats, go have a beer at The Shamrock, Rodriguez Pena 1220 at the corner of Arenales.

If you want to see some of the country go to Iguazu falls in the north and Ushuaia in the south where you can take a boat ride in the straits of Magellan and take a quick flight to the little town of El Calafate, the jumping off place to tour the amazing Perito Moreno glacier.

A month seems like a long time it will go fast and at the end you'll wish you had another month to try to see everything there.

Have fun! Source(s): http://www.filo-ristorante.com/...

Other Travel Tips
If you go there never miss in Buenos Aires: Calle Caminito, to go shopping for argentinian souvenirs, never ever miss Florida Street, lots of shopping malls and places there, is a pedestrian street. Also, at night visit Tangueria: La ventana, the show is nice, but dont miss La Tangueria de Carlos Gardel, rally nice and fancy show, along with dinner, and the food has gardel's songs name. if you like mozzarella get "Rubias de new york" for entrance.
in argentina you'll eat pretty well, but dont miss out on "alfajores" yummi!! and also many of their dessert recepies include "Dulce de Leche"
buenos aires is really fun, take a city tour and enjoy the city, visit the pink house, and la "bombonera" (their futbol stadium).
i went to argentina and loved it.
