Easy. Have done it a few times. Go to the bus station and get a ticket. You will deboard a little bit at the border to go through customs and immigration and then you get back on. Super easy!! If you are going by land, make sure you have paid your mexican tourist card at a Mexican bank of you will not be able to leave the country, and it must be paid AT A BANK. Enjoy the Belize beaches!!

if you are at the border of chetumal you can take any of the buses that run to belize, or if your drivin yourself, follow the northern highway for 2 hours
